For this job, the customer requested a cold water tap to be installed in their garage, as a means of supplying their new pressure washer for vehicle and driveway cleaning.

The job began by investigating the water supply availability and discussing tap fitting requirements and ideal tap location.

Once this we had everything confirmed, we shut off the water supply and ensured it was drained entirely.

The manual then work began with the drilling of a hole for the water supply pipe, and three mounting holes to secure the tap to the wall.

Once the hole was drilled out, we layed out the pipe work.

The tap location was to be close to the cold water inflow pipe for the washing machine in the utility room.
The pipework was designed to hug the wall and sit neatly around the back of the washing machine.

This wouldn't effect supply to the washing machine or the tap, and both can be used simultaneously non stop if required.

Finally the new tap fitting installed.

We then switched the water back on and ran some tests with the customer.

We discussed the use case for each of the supplied tap fittings, along with other fitting they could attach to the tap should they need to in the future.
We also got it all connected up with their power washer setup.

Closing questions were answered and that's another job done!
